You are purchasing a brand new Harley Davidson replacement windshield that is approved by the DOT.  There is no need to send us your old windshield. We apologize for the length of these instructions but we want to make sure you get the product you want!
Glow Shield is not responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply.

• First, write down the design number you want.  There are many designs available and more are being added.  If there is something you want that you do not see, we can engrave it for you if you supply us the black and white artwork.
  
  
• Second, choose any words that you would like under or over your design.  For example, some customers have put their Hog Chapter, a business logo, or a loved one's name.  Make sure you specify a font type and font size (we have over 8,000 font types available).  You can view different font types by brousing in most document editing programs (i.e. - Microsoft Word).
  
  
• Third, write down the year, make, and model of your bike.  If there is a identification number on the windshield, this can also be helpful.  From our experience, some bikes do not have the factory installed shield so if you are in doubt, make sure you find out what type of shield is on your bike.  It is your responsibility to provide the correct information, Glow Shield does not assume any responsibility for shields that are ordered incorrectly.  There are different prices depending upon the type of bike.  See our brand list for a list of windshields we currently support.
  
  
• Fourth, choose a color for the windshield lights.  Available options include red, blue, green, yellow/amber, and white.  You can see the different colors on the Product Photos page. The standard string of lights used on a shield for a single design has eight lights.  Additional lighting (or you can add an additional color) is available for a fee of $50 per four lights.
  
  
• Fifth, choose the location that you would like the engraving to be located.  You know your bike's windshield best so make sure there is enough room for the engraving.  Options include lower left (when facing bike from front), lower center, lower right, upper left, and upper right.
  
  
• Finally, once you have all this information and have decided on the design. Click the 'Order Now' link from the Order Now page. Glow Shield utilizes PayPal for financial transactions. PayPal is recognized as a secure site and expedites the order process. Once in PayPal, first time users will have to sign up for the service. Once registered, you will choose your product, fill in a simple form, and wait for your custom windshield to arrive in 3-6 weeks. Because we want to make sure that everything was entered correctly, you will receive a phone call and/or email before we produce your windshield to confirm your choices.
